Event


Epic Thanks Tampa Bay is a charity fund raising event scheduled for November 19, 2010 to benefit both the EpicChange organization as well as a local Changemaker in the Tampa Bay area.  A Changemaker is a person or group that selflessly devotes their time and resources to positively impact the lives of others. In keeping with the mission of the EpicChange, Epic Thanks Tampa Bay has identified Mike Halley and his organization, Halley’s K9′s for Veterans, as this year’s celebrated Changemaker for the  Tampa Bay area.

November 19 will be a celebration of all for which we are thankful.  Having evolved from Tweetsgiving, an annual and global celebration that aims to change the world through the power of gratitude, the event will also serve as a charity fund raising event to benefit both Halley’s K9′s for Veterans and EpicChange.  It is the goal of the event to not only celebrate the efforts of Mike Halley, but to also amplify the voice of his organization as well as the positive impact it has on the community.

We invite you to join us as we lend a hand to Epic Change’s mission to help hopeful people in need and share their stories with others.  In addition to celebrating  Halley’s K9′s for Veterans and Epic Change, the event will also spotlight the other local Changemakers that were finalists for this year’s event.  They are (in no particular order):
